Jennifer Lawrence interview for Hunger Games!

Lawrence was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of Karen (née Koch), who runs a children's camp, and Gary Lawrence, who once owned a concrete construction firm, Lawrence & Associates. She acted in church plays and, by the age of 14, had decided to pursue an acting career, persuading her parents to take her to New York City to find a talent agent. Although she had no training or experience, she received high praise from the agency for which she auditioned. She graduated from high school two years early in order to begin a career in acting.

The Past: Winters Bone, X-Men: First Class
The Future: The Hunger Games, The Silver Linings Playbook

Jennifer Lawrence chats with Access about being cast as Katniss Everdeen in "The Hunger Games." What was it like for her as a fan to land such a coveted role? Plus, what has been her favorite weapons training so far? Lastly, why did she think it was funny when fans were upset that a blonde had been cast in the role?
Remember Jennifer Lawrence is Raven, aka Mystique in X-Men, a metamorph – or shape-shifter – who can assume the form of any object or creature she chooses. Check out this hi-def interview with Jen and David Letterman back on May 19, 2011:
